I'll have a look at the fuel pipe / MAP sensor over the weekend - the LR place recommended using a fuel system cleaner just in case the pump or injectors are clogged up. Not used any cleaners like this in the past - any particular brand I should be using / is it worth doing?
If they suggested a fuel system cleaner as opposed to injector cleaner, you want a bactericide which can be bought on line or from yacht chandlers/ agricultural merchants. Low fuel in winter leads to condensation in the tank causing bacterial growth which can block filters, the FIP and injectors.

Did various bits and pieces on it over the weekend and noticed air in the fuel line after the filter housing (thought I'd got rid of the air problem when I changed the in tank pump) so replaced the filter housing - also saw a bit of fuel on the rubber hose just before the filter housing so replaced that as well.

There was much less air getting through but still could see little bubbles so disconnected the fuel supply going to the filter and turned the ignition on - nothing came through. So the (new) in tank pump has failed, replacement should be with me today so maybe that'll sort it, not overly confident though! I also disconnected / tested it at the tank end so I don't think there's a problem with the fuel lines.

Also bridged the relay to make sure it wasn't that - but still no joy. Admittedly it wasn't a high quality pump (Bearmach) but surely it shouldn't give up that quickly - it's only been on a few weeks
