Don't know that end so well, Trewey is more local to that. I can pm you a few ideas, but all down west. Im sure there are indie garages more convenient for you than that.

Mid Cornwall 4x4 at Bugle try them or theres a place at Winnerds Perch between Roche and Padstow on the A39 hope this helps.

Few peeps have said mid cornwall 4x4 are ok. Also there is a place with signs on the A30going over the moor, just east of Bodmin. No personal info on them though!

DP, that's the one, couldn't remember what the sign said. Don't really use garages myself, just MOTs, just seen it in passing. Shame hes shut down, I would think he would get plenty of trade of that sign, must be thousands past there every day.
