Done the leak waiting to see what’s she is like in the morningMy vote is fix the fuel leak and then test again. Beru glow plugs make a big difference. Expensive but worth it.

Trying to see if it’s was the fuel leak first rather than doing to many things at onceStill sounds like plugs. But have you checked the lift pump?
Ok see what you get work from there. Good luckTrying to see if it’s was the fuel leak first rather than doing to many things at once
started first turn of the key this morning heater on for 5 seconds fired straght up now to sort the temp gauge plus other faults lol
Getting nanocom today hopefully will see what that turns up, looks like another issue to resolveM51 Should fire up first beat cold
Glow plugs or leak off pipes are favourite for poor cold starting. From cold how many times should the engine turn to fire up? Mine takes about 5-6 turns before fires up, when engine is hot and start ups straight away but think this is because of new chains?
Lube fuel?Leak off pipes only return the excess lube fuel back to the tank they cannot put air in the injection pump or HP fuel lines.
Lube fuel?
How'd you get on with your temp gauge? My issues are similar ( no noticable rise on the dash gauge, and no temp for ETC showing on Nanocom )sorry its taken a while to get back starting issues sorted replaced fuel lines and filter housing starts every time hot or cold even when left a week
still need to sort out temp gauge
