Recently bought a 1995 P38 that ran OK for a few days, I parked it up for about a week to do a little work on it only to find when i came to move it the clutch pedal disappeared into the carpet, looks like someone had trouble previously as there was a used slave cylinder in the boot.
I had a nosey under the car to find slave cylinder was leaking so i removed it and tried the other one only to find it did the same???
Now having looked at the rave dravings it appears the pushrod is a lot shorter that the one on my car (looks like the one i have is a makeshift one made from a long bolt), it also actualy looks like the release arm is to far back, does anyone what length the pushrod should be and the distance of the arm fron the cylinder.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on?, seems a little strange to me as the car was running perfectly prior to me parking up to do the work.
Many thanks
Vic
