Diagnostics would show the height being measured by the sensors and that way you can see which one is faulty.

Oh, and I didn't jack the car, but put an axle stand under the chassis in case the suspension dropped unexpectedly.

Ant in means it also does TV, no good to you now as the digital switch over means it's obsolete.
You can just jack under the axle and put on axle stands. Make sure you leave the tailgate or a door open to freeze the suspension while you are working so the EAS does not know what you are up to
The EAS software give you an English fault message
