Hi all, got a weird one here, p38 2.5DHSE, driving to the local shop saw smoke coming from the front offside wheel, pulled over the wheel was red hot, left it for a few minutes when i went to pull away she was going no where in drive foot down nothing!!! finally got it home swopped the calipers and pads for new ones, bled the truck up and as soon as i turned the wheels there was a clonk and the front brake came full on, crack the nipple off and it free rolls then clonks again and locks up...thinking master cyl/ modulator...any ideas greatly appreciated

Seal in the master cylinder reversing and sticking? Used to happen a lot with old BL cars - both clutch and brakes.

What year is it? If it has 4 wheel traction control, could be an ABS/Traction control problem?
