Mintex or Ferodo, £18.80/set, front or rear incl. VAT.
Usually get them when I am over in the UK and bring a couple of complete sets back. Sick of the Irish rip off syndrome...get a UK price and double or triple it !!!

stick to mintex i personally recomend them for every day use (the mrs p38),ive got ebc greenstuff with drilled and grooved discs allround in my other p38 and i dont like them, they are crap when cold which is useless for small journeys but excellent when warmed up on a long journey

Set of 4 pads..does both sides.

TIP.
If you are ordering from Island and you are thinking you may need more bits & pieces, get them all in one go as their shipping prices are "Per Parcel" up to a certain weight and not per item.
Their delivery cost & shipping time is pretty quick also. I have received my stuff in 2-3 working days from date of order.

Never had brake squeal from Mintex, Ferodo etc., perhaps I have faulty brakes !!!

Nah it must be your charm. I'm stubborn an ornery and my brakes squeal! First set of mintex braking was excellent but sounded like sick piglets for the first 2000 miles; not all the time mind, just when it would be embarrassing. Second set started off the same but then I followed Wammers' advice and filed a chamfer on the leading edge. This time EBC and so far so good.

Same problem in France:mad::mad::mad:

I just bought new front discs and pads from Island4x4.. £59.99 incl shipping. arrived in 2 days ! :D

Went down the village to ask the garage to fit them for me, and they refused " because they can't guarantee the work if the parts aren't bought from them" Grrr :(

What a load of bollocks. Only twenty minutes a side anyway get them fitted yourself. Remember to wash the discs with solvent before you fit them. A bit of copper grease on bearing surfaces of pads, a slight chamfer filed on leading edge, if they have not got one, and away you go.

Can't. There's no hard standing here so I can't jack it up :(
