Anyone have an aftermarket P38 Grill on their range rover?

Looking at getting one over this next week to give it a facelift. Been looking on ebay and prices seem to range between £110 to £160.

I love the look of the Java Gloss Black but dont think it will show up that well, so have been looking at chrome/light silver ones.

Love the look of the RangeRover Supercharged grill.

Anyone got pics of what theirs looks like?

p38 still clings on to that country range rover classic look and shape ... putting a silver 2010 style "range rover sport" supercharge style grill on, (imo) is a bad move, and trying to make it look something its not or shouldnt be or doesnt want or need to be !!

KEEP IT CLASSIC !!!

What's wrong with the one on it? Is it damaged or faded? One of mine was badly faded but that was cured quite easily with Forever Black. Looks fantastic now. The other is colour coded and still looks good but I prefer the black version.

Got this off e-bay a couple of years ago for £30.00, a bit of 'messin about' & stuck it on, still have the perfect original one should I wish to change it back, only did it to be 'different' & something to do!!
Sad or what.

im not a fan of aftermarket grills. only decent one ive seen is a std p38 grill painted silver with some small holes drilled to look like a supercharged one. or painting it colour code or black. but thats my opinion

My P38 came with a spray painted silver grill (check profile).
I don't like the look of it (Mrs Propman does though)
I'll be rubbing it down and spraying it black first chance I get.

Same colour of Rover as mine what colour is the interior ? mine looks the same colour as your but Iam unsure if it is lightstone because when I look at the lightstone interiors on ebay they look much lighter than mine .My door cards look light but kinda yellow. Is that because they are dirty ? I have cleaned them to death but still dont look as light as ones I see on ebay?
Any tips on how i find out my interior colour? I suppose I can post a picture of it

Yeh, its Lightstone on mine, boardering on white!!

I'm lucky I guess, 'cos there's no rips or wear on the leather, & I keep it colour-dyed & fed every year, like new underneith as well, ( waxoyl )
Everything works as it should as well !

Although I'm not a fan of aftermarket grills on the P38, I must admit your's is the best one I've seen & does look well smart, especially against the red paintwork.

Seen some similar ones on fleabay but they are going for £125 plus and, at that price, I'm OK with my original one now that it's back to the original colour

i did mine with dark grey plastikote and it came out really well (also did the little bits under the headlights to match) It is exactly the same shade as the bumper.

A lot of chaps recomend something called "forever black" which seems to do a brill job (I'll be getting some to do my door handles with)
