p38 4.6hse Non starter...any ideas why?

Have now swapped out the starter motor for a new one. What a C**T of a job! The bolt on the rear is almost impossible to get to. I managed to get the right length ratchet extension only to find that my cheapo ratchet did not have enough room to get any purchase. I gave up eventually and went to the hardware shop for a better one with more teeth. I managed to get get one that also works by twisting the handle. genius and an absolute must for this job, unless you want to start removing manifolds etc. She fired up first time when I reconnected the battery. Whats all the wiindow resetting about?


Luckily the problem was not the becm/ecu losing codes. BTW Landrover mobile assistance cannot reset these if the car is pre 2000.
