It could cause a fuel ratio problem due to misreading the temp. It wouldn't cause coolant loss though.

not until you've had a compression or sniff test done.

right car has been in the garage today there dianostics cant communicate with my ecu

was it a landy specialist or local garage?

What computer were they using?

How did they get on with testing for hgf and locating the coolant leak?

it was a local garage but ive have also been to landrover and there computer cant link to my ecu garage ive just been to didnt say anything about a pressure test or sniff test

did you tell them that you are losing large quantities of coolant and that it's running rough?

ive just spoke to someone else going to see them tomorrow told them about the coolant loss and rough running..he said to start looking at the fuel pump

been to another garage today and they could hear air from the intake manifold so ive ordered another...they said there could a crack in the plastic
