ffs they don't all have hgf
there are plenty of other reasons for coolant loss
and rough running?
Read back and you will see that I recommended a sniff or compression test to confirm or crush the idea.

rough running is synominous with a failed inlet manifold gasket.
i've been through all this kinda crap with mine, it would've been cheaper and more entertaining to have bought a V8 off Drivel

As long as the engine stays out of the vehicle it should start. It only fails to start once fitted.
