P reg P38, 2.5L diesel, remote locking sensor issue

Hi. I'm due to pick up this truck on Saturday, and have just been informed of a "gremlin" that flattens the battery. Apparently the remote locking sensor picks up "stray" wifi, or remote signals, thus waking the ecm up, which leads to the battery being drained. One fix suggested is to remove some part of the wiring for the sensor module circuit, thus rendering it un-usable unless you are stood next to the O/S rear corner where the unit is. Someone else hinted at another possible fix, something to do with altering the antenna on the receiving unit in the boot, but they didn't know enough to be able to point me in the right direction, so its over to you guys... please keep it simple, I'm not very knowledgeable on techy stuff lol.

Remove blue wire from RF receiver. That is the connection to the aerial in the side window. Also see threads about additional remote that switches power off to the RF receiver until just before you use the fob to unlock the car. Switch power on with the additional fob then open with car fob. Or buy a new RF receiver at around £200.00.

Great info..... one problem... the Ebay seller that the link in the info goes to no longer sells the unit, anyone know of any other sources for these?
