This is my first time on this Landy Zone, so please bear with me. I want some advice on why my 1996 Land Rover Discovery is having a problem with sensors. I have replaced five sensors and now the "check engine" light is on again and the car is coughing and sputtering. I hate to take it to my mechanic again as it costs a fortune to get things fixed. I would like to know what the underlying problem is with these 02 sensors and if they can be fixed economically. Can I get O2 sensors wholesale somewhere? I may have caused the problem myself. I started using Co-Op gas and I don't think it is as good as the top grade of Chevron gas. Do you think I have damaged something by using fuel graded at 91. For the past 10 years I used the best gas 94 grade and just recently changed over to co-op gas. Could this be causing a problem. Thank you for any help you can give me.
