Overheating

Hi
Please can somebody help
I have a disco 2 V8 2002 I have changed the radiator and a/c condenser(not yet been charged with gas) new viscous fan and new oats anti freeze, the problem I got is if I go for a drive the a/c fan is running would this be normal? Do you think I need to change the water pump? Thanks in anticipation

No, its not normal, it a symptom that the engine was on its way to overheating, so need to have the fault code removed and reset, lots of info already in the Forum on what's involved.

Yes, change the pump if somethings wrong with it, there only three things to go wrong, leaking past the seal, bearing fail and if your really unlucky the impeller becomes detached... so which is it.
