Hello everybody we've just bought this our new toy non daily drive more of a spare landy.
I've had defenders before loved em
We have two p38's as daily drives , but glad to have a series in the family now so I shall be poping in from now and then as I know sod all about the petrol engine fitted , I use drive diesels normally been ages since I had a petrol :)
Best start doing some research in this part of the site

Looks good :) Whats the chassis like?

Every thing is good the usual suface rust,but its not rotted through newish mot no advisory s its in pretty good nick, bulkhead too.
its been barn stored when not in use .

When we get It home I take some pics .
 
Magneto? they're not that primitive! Mind you, the starting handle on the petrol is really useful.
 
Oi leave my bumper alone !!

As far as I gather it has a magneto , thus it it powers its own spark no distributor I haven't had the chance to investigate yet I presume its had a engine change in its 30 year lifespan?

I will up date with photo I might be wrong havent looked yet.:)
