just because an mot station does you a dodgy MOT does not make the vehicle road legal..... if VOSA see it they will pull yer and go through the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and you will find the police won't look kindly on it either

plus it personally i think it looks pony

fair enough.

What if you were to park it up at the side of the road after a run - exhaust pipe still red hot - and a little kid walks up to it and decides to rest his hand on it?

i see your point, but being taught about stupid mods on landys should be standard british education, would you not agree?

ere explain this comment please

well, on the one hand it may have prevented me and many others from doing such mods, that spark such debates. but then no one on here would have anything to do (inc me). and it also could have prevented many kids from burning themselves. but... oh well.

not that comment ya numpty - this one below

i go to a uni that has the highest rate of police hatred against it

Yeah, cus that'd be completely childproof then.

surely having a hot exhaust is the same as having a sharp recovery eye, that could slice a childs head open if they were to run past. my point being that landys are not the most child friendly cars - front bumper at head level, too high to get in to, crap breaks etc....

A 'sharp' recovery eye? Where the feck do ya get them from?

Edit: And anyway, even if you do have 'sharp' recovery eyes front and rear, kids and people generally know to stay clear of the steel bumpers on a Land Rover. A shiny rounded stainless steel, snorkel-looking device up front is much less dangerous looking.

media studies, entry qualification is knowing how to turn the xBox on

ok well, we have a very bad reputation with them for lots of things, from off roading on private estates to drink driving. they park in the college car park on monday and wednesday nights every week, to catch you drink driving etc... and no its not engineering, its astrophysics!
