Well.. I'd be already quite happy if my wife would want one as opposed to some
horrible saloon, so.. count your blessings.

You're in the wrong newsgroup though, try rec.cars.soccermums instead of
anything ending on .4x4... ;-)

Then again it's seems to have slightly more ground clearance than the
completely horrible Honda CRV, which has about useful ground clearance at the
rear suspension as a Civic.

Isn't this the Ford Maverick? In which case its not the most
accomplished of cars in its class and comes a long way behind
competitors such as the Freelander and X-Trail.

It is made by Mazda. you could try googleing 'Mazda Tribute'

 
My next door neighbor has a 2003.It seems to be an excellent vehicle and
he loves it.
