Yes, it was nice and well lubed too...not overly worn, but once the gland is on the rod, pressed into the flange past the gusset, the shaft can then be moved slowly until the nuts tighten. At this point the shaft/rod movement that is attached to the gland can be quickened until a point when the nuts have fully contracted and a seepage of lubricating fluid is expelled from the end of the gland indicating that full penetration of the flange has been achieved.

But the batteries are flat on his butt plug.No nipple clamps were injured in the typing of the above.
