Hi
I had a landrover 110 for 15 years, sold it and now 12 years later have now got a 1987 90.
going to do oil changes.
there are so many different opinions on what oil to use so below is what I thin k I should use:
Engine = 15w40
Gearbox = ATF dexron II D
Transfer box = EP80W90 GL4
Front and rear axles = EP80W90 GL4
Any comments would be appreciated

Many thanks
Dave

Welcome to LZ.
All oils mentioned will be just fine, don't spend a fortune on named brands, cheaper stuff will do just fine, avoid synthetic like the plague.

Yeah, pretty spot on.

Thought I would use EP90 in the diffs and TX Box

Isnt MTF94 recommend for the R380? If you want spend some money the the equivalent gearbox oil from Swepco 712 is brilliant

I am guessing it's a lt77.
EP90 was the spec originally for axles and transfer box for that age originally.

LT77 is quite happy with atf, any atf will do, just change it when the gear changes get less precise, if that is possible!
