Oil Question

HI all i was just about to attempt a oil and filter change on my 110 TD5 and noticed the oil the chap gave me from the garage is 10w40 in my manual it gives 5w30 can i use 10w40 or do i have to go back and change it ! AHHHH!

Sorry 5w40 not 5w30 .

it will be allright ,it will just be a bit thinner when cold 5w/40 cmpared to 10w/40

I use 10w40 in my TD5. It dont get cold enough to need 5w-30 in the UK.
