Oil leaks

Hi yall, it's my first landy so i'll be needing some tips as time go's on, I have just bought a discovery td5 with the top spec its a really nice motor, can anyone tell me are thay prone to oil leaks if so were are the hot spots to look at? and are there any other things I should be looking for,

If you wanted oil leaks, you should have bought a series, they are really good in that respect.

Camshaft front oil seal is prone to wear
Plastic disc with a rubber O ring at front of engine
Becoming a serviceable item that needs replacing frequently

(PS - there is only the one seal, so no need for 2 threads )

Thank you for your response i will get it checked out, I've noticed some oil on the left hand side of the engine as your looking at it from the front but no oil on the drive
after it has been standing. thanks again.
