Oil change. Gearbox, transfer box, axles.

So, got all my oils together. Tools ready, trusty homemade 10l drain pan. All good.
Axles. Check.
Transfer box. Check.
Gearbox..........who the flock decided it was a good idea to put the drain plug on the side???
So, crossmember rust proof, radius arm rust proof, section of chassis rust proof, big feck off stain on tar, wife raging. Happy Sunday everybody!!

Oh the joys of Land Rover ownership.
A pressurised garden sprayer is good for filling the transfer box.

Yeah, actually have a transfer pump in the garage but been so long since I've done it myself I'd forgotten the pitfalls like the gearbox drain plug and the tranny filler plug. (Hmm that's maybe badly put!)
Usually too busy this time of year and my mate down the road just does it for me as I let him use my garage to work on his own landys.
If weather had been crap I'd have had it in the garage myself and wouldn't have incurred the wrath of the drago.....my beloved wife......yes dear, be over in a minute!!
