oil catch tank?

have a very "breathy" 19j 2.5td and was looking to stop oil migration along breather. would fitting an oil catch tank (as used in racing and kit cars) stop this oil gunking up my air filter and generally spewing about the place?

seemingly you fit breather hose to it and continue run after it. stops oil going onto race track.

Anyone else fitted one?

i used to have one fitted to my rs turbo and cosworth, very effective piece of kit, far better than any OE engine breathing equiptment and will in no way adversely affect performance or working of the engine. Have a look at someone like Bailey's alu equipment or go onto Rally designs Professional Motorsport Parts, Spares & Rally Equipment from Rally Design or any stockist of Mocal equipment.

Shunt it be an owld treacle tin seeing as how its a Land Rover. Any how I'm off to extend the hose to run up along the snorkle and into the top bit, an old K&N air filter, the oil shouldn't get that far up the hose and it should run back down the hose and back into the rocker cover.
