oil and battery light flashing

Ive a freelander 1, sounds like a tractor this morning. The oil and battery lights are both flashing. Just had a new battery and alternator any ideas :violent:

Is the alternator charging the battery. I assume you have checked the drive belt for the alternator isn't loose.
