just got a disco last week knew i had a bit of welding to do on the rear passenger wheel arch but upon inspecting it today i found to my horror both my rear shockers are sheered off at the bushes (thought it was a bit bouncy) so im goin to need a pair, im based in liverpool and its a 1994 disco tdi es, any suggestions on where to get them and how much? also im after the rear passenger wheel arch panel if anyone has any ideas, and a rear diff gasket lol but i think thats it, who knows with lannies though

hiya matt, what do you mean sheared off at the bushes? are they still in place and lost missing the bushes? bottom bush set will set you back only a few quid and start getting some wd40 on the bottom nuts as they have a habit of siezing up mate. LR center in speke you need mate! can get yer the number if you like.

so you mean the washers have rotted away that go between the bushes?? lol
lr supermarket is the place mate. but like i said get some wd on those nuts before you go to do it.

lol no mate the washers are sound the shocker itself has snapped in half basically lol are they the same shockers as a defender 90 do you know?

pretty similar but different enough not to work. The RRC shockers are the same as Disco - £8.09 for the Armstrong ones (STC3939), but I'd pay a bit more and go for Koni's or Bilsteins. You could go DeCarbons, but after the fun I've had this weekend with them on a Defender and my RRC, I'm not gonna recommend the @&^"$&*# things anymore ;)

I have had a shock shear off before, the advice is correct about the WD40 on the bolts and also about the Armstrong shocks I put a pair on my rear but want to change them as they feel rubish.
