Offered to go and look,got pm with number and town, tried it but only got answer phone-thought what the hell as hadn't been on my bike for ages.

Got down there with tools in a rucksack,still couldn't get a reply-so I made a day of it.
Breakfast at Morrisons,look in at Blackbrook garden centre at maidenhead aquatics(wellington) then hein gericke shop taunton and home.

Best bit was bit of rain to start with-then rest of the day dry

My suggestion, if there is enough sticking out, get some blobs of weld on the stud and then a stilson wrench. I used this a few times in the past, works a treat.

all done now,,, only taken 3 days :doh:

but no leaks so far.

2002 GSF600 AKA SUZUKI BANDIT bought it new and about 11k on it now and running bt 020's
Insurance is peanuts, mainly ride solo-or I'd get a 1200.
Blue unfaired with rentec chrome crash bars, baglux tank cover, scott oiler and heated grips

drilled out the studs retapped the threads and refiited the pump

just checked her water this morning after a 20 mile drive around last night and its all fine, cant find any leaks yet so keping my fingers crossed
