Off roading in Merseyside

Another good day out, the wayfarer route was a bit tame, but a good laugh was had by all. It was a shame we couldnt have a proper blast of Nant Mawr Quarry, but ive got the bug now, cant wait to do some more serious off roading. All 3 landys ****ed the trails, and no real mechanicals which isnt bad since they where all ragged for around 200 miles virtually non stop, and have a combined age of over 60n years. ANy ideas where to go next.
 
Think that is what mine needs, as its running rich and im still high off the exhaust fumes that where leaking into my cab. I started seeing things at one point. Think we should plan a good wkend trip sum expedition sum where, not to hot on all the driving. How much fuel did you use andy, as I didnt see u go the petty station again. I reckon it cost me close to £70 for the day which isnt too bad, as my wheels are big and I was going flat out on the road sections, even got to 90mph at one point on my speedp, where I nearly lost it, shame its out by around 10 mph. Are you up for leigh quarry soon, going to copy u an get a roof bar too so we can go off roading in the dark.
 
funny you should mention the fuel i used just under half a tank which was 30 quid hehe not bad for a 4 litre v8 fella 189 miles i clocked up not bad ithink
 
Thats very good going, I would be lucky to get that milage in by 3 series. Do you have any ideas where to go next time. Did you get many oics of today andy.
 
am i getting that mileage woohooo , sent raz email of todays pics, just await oh an mad hat when i swapped it a month ago i put 60 in an got 340 odd miles so mileage is quite good i filled up used just under half of tank an done on my trip clock 189 today dont forget alot of it was m otor way miles if that makes any use ? but only when it goes round town or when i use it for work it swallows the juice on motorways doesnt move at all
