hiya john, though it would be pat doing the welding, prob the cheapest fella you will find, yer ill tell him the script with steaming the chassis john.
as regards mods, when **** comes up cheap ill mod it kind of thing, its in a brilliant way standard at the mo, just ran more boost pressure, timing has been tweeked, smoke screw adjusted and bigger intercooler to be fitted so its a pokey lil 200tdi as it is, got no cats on it but gonna make it strait through, plus just upgraded alloys and got camac at's on, lifts are **** in mu opinion cause yer diffs will still **** the floor so if anything some spacers in the springs for an extra inch and a half, some cut arches with arch covers and some even larger tyres, got a snorkel in the pipline too so ill sink it right in when i get that, if yer look at the pics of hill and ditch i put up youll see how deep it goes as it is.
 
I had a look on feedback but I couldnt find the details of items bought or prices. It doesnt suprise me as you cant find decent landys esp 90 or 110s for under a grand with a decent chassis.
I think the way Richie looks at it, if the chassis is sound, then MOT and service wont cost too much. Throw in some bucket seats, big wheels and tyres and fit a make shift snorkle and roll cage and you have a cheap capeable off roader for around the £1100 mark.

Your disco looks sweet, I prefer them without all the mods, they look well smart.
 
cheers john, she does scrub up well but looking a bit worse for wear at the mo and a bit sorry for herself in the unit. 2 weeks tops and am back out with yer, just waiting on the carbs for micks rangie also and yer got another 2 in the bunch.
 
not bad 4oo quid profit then was it jammy git , erm mine john is goin in for a service to have some checks done starting to run roughish so lookin goin to places close supposedly some good green laning near chorley if ye up for it say next week poss this week see how she goes ?.......................riychies beast doesnt look yo bad in a way like 100 yds away lol chris`s looks funny with all the lights on but found hes got more welding needed than he thought lol
 
It's all good on mine, I just need the longer rear cross member with the rear spring hangers built in ! No major drama's thankfully phew

I've had an email off the lad who sold it to him and he says Quote " yes he's described it exactly as it was when I sold it" unquote
 
Oh by the way andy and acky, I've decided to sell me Lexus and me Bora thing and pool the money together and buy a decent defender for about 9/10k wooooooooooooooooooooooo
 
So what ya gunna do with your 109. You must have really got the bug chris, haha. I thought part of the fun of off roading is having a cheapo landy that ya can rape, and abuse. 9/10ks worth of landy gets ya some serious vehicle though when ya look on the e-bay specials. When do ya reckon your 109 will be up an running. will give ya call 2moro lid.
Richie didnt win that shed of a landy, it went for 970 in the end. Madness. Thinks hes after a nice camo series 3 on e-bay now.
 
chaps, looking at gettting a shed load or diff guards made up, already done the chequer stuff which ill give yer a pic of in a sec, just wanna know what interest yer have in them and what you would like to pay, they will be comming in black, red, yellow.:D

slight flaw in that plan m8 what am i meant to use lol i'll be rplacing it in a month or two m8 you'll be able to then as i'll have a newer one am getting a tirfor instead of a winch as winches look great but just add unneccesary stress to the electrics and then theres the maintenence when they go wrong

and a tirfor and high lift jack can get you out of any situation a winch can
