Off Road center in Buxton

Hi all ive herd there is a off roading center in Buxton/Matlock if so were is it and is ti any good?

im not far from matlock and the only place i can think of is shottle off road near belper,

is that place at shottle a pay n play site?av been there with the notts club,its not bad

yep, was about £20 for the weeknd, went last summer as a passenger. not a bad place and its just down the road!

who runs it?

ive been told shottle has been closed for the forseable future

any one been to Langdale offroad??

Yeah, Langdale was good .. if you were in the Extreme mode .. all others were good for beginners or soft-roaders.
However, I believe it's now closed. The websites down, rumours are the Forestry Commission closed 'em 'cos too many bikers and 4x4'ers were going off piste and into areas that were marked out of bounds. Dunno the 'real' story though .. just heard bits !!!

I was at langdale last october and was up and running...they seemed to know what they were doing...be a shame if it closed. Seems to be the way up here in the north east!
