Nutty Fuel Gauge

The fuel gauge on my SIII has recently started going beserk, vibrating all over the shop. I have no idea as to where to start looking - can anyone offer some decent suggestions?

I did manage to change my speedo cable a long while back when it broke but from what I've read this seems a little more complicated.

dodgy connection , at the gauge, the sender unit or the earth

Where is the sender unit, and what it look like?

it will be on top of your fuel tank should have two wires off it

some only have one wire so don't panic if your has one

anything good going on slob
