Disco 2 Nudge Bar install help

Hi,

Does anyone have any detailed instructions of how to fit a nudge bar?

I bought this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/390991844334

I've followed the minimal instructions that came with it and it doesn't line up properly. There is a black bar under the chassis attached to the crash cans which I'm not sure if I need to take off?

Anyone installed one before?

Hi that looks just like the one I have fitted on mine. Have you got the 2 mounting brackets with it?
First you need to remove the plastic splash guard under the bumper, I had to loosen my anti roll bar to wiggle it out of the way. Then you can look up and see the bumper mountings. The brackets bolt on to the bumper mounting bolts, but you may need longer bolts. Mine had a mix of longer and shorter bolts, bizarrely. Then the bar bolts to the brackets. The steering guard tube you mentioned can be left in place.
I bought mine off eBay and the guy that sold it to me forgot to supply the mounting brackets and left me scratching my head.

Hi Cmryan, managed to do it in the end, took some head scratching (especially being -1 outside) but all good. Yes mine has light brackets too. Thanks for the help though!
