Hi folks!
So I am not quite sure if I have already done this or not so here it goes again (maybe!).
I'm Ian, 33 from Kent, been driving my Freebie for 6 years, mostly long-haul trips through Europe and to the north of England and Wales. I rarely if ever do small local trips in it.
It was converted to LPG almost immediately after purchase by the original owner. Its gone wrong plenty, been fixed plenty and I will keep it until the garage tells me she cant be fixed no more. She is lovely to drive and the best bit of all - she's not a trattor!
100413 miles on the clock, 60k by me.

Oh almost forgot the important bit! She's a 2001 Freelander 1 1.8 K 3dr GS

Lots of toys in the cabin:
- front and back facing DVR recording all road use onto portable 2tb hard-drive in the drivers glovebox
- In car pc built out of an old 1 DIN dvd player with touchscreen, this runs all my GPS, entertainment and has full bluetooth, wireless and internet capability
- Heads up display running from pc to just above instrument cowl. This enables me to accurately get KPH when driving abroad without trying to focus on the tiny dash numbers. This is basically a usb powered mirrored screen showing an electronic speedo dial with numbers, positioned between the back of the cowl and the windscreen, reflecting onto the screen just above the panel and gets its info directly through an ELM 327 ODBII bluetooth connection with the computer. My wife thinks its stupid, but I like it - mainly because I'm a bit of a techy geek - and as I'm the one driving it, thats all that matters! This is perfectly safe to use when driving and is not nearly as distracting as it sounds.
- Reversing sensors
- Power invertor for the laptop and other devices when camping
- Oil and water temp gauges - did this before the PC mod. These are redundant now as this info is displayed on the PC screen via OBDII
- and a few other little mods I have made to make life easier when out camping, rescuing damsels in distress or going out shooting
