Although not a Landy show, todays (Sat 21) vintage rally at St Mawgan, Cornwall, saw a well-interesting selection. I counted at least 26, not including the 'workhorses' that had their duties to attend to before becoming an exhibit themselves. From a rather sympathetically restored 1949 80" complete with its original ring pull 4x4 chain reaching through its hole in the floor, Series 3's, 2a's 90/Defenders (the real ones) with one, a 110 pickup sporting a Cummins. Of course, there are many other mechanical distractions at these shows along the line of classic 50's & 60's motors along with everything in between, steam, etc. You get the picture. & the one thing that always sticks in my mind is how willing these folk are to chat about their steeds, be they cars, Landy's & whatever. Long may these rallies continue & hats off to the organizers for a LOT of 'behind the scenes' work that must surely go on. Anyone on here attend todays show?
