Hi,
I have a 2005 Freelander 1 and I've had no real problems with it until today - I went to the car (not driven it in about a week) and pressed the key fob and nothing happened. I went round and unlocked it with the key, put the key in the ignition and turned it to the 2nd position which is normally where all the lights come on but all that came on was the odometer. I tried turning the key as if to start the engine anyway and all that came on at that point was the SRS light.
I don't know if I just have a flat battery (don't know what would have caused it but can investigate that later)? Or the other thing I wondered about was I read in the manual that the key fob is programmed to the car so if the key fob battery has gone flat is there a chance that's the problem? Or something else that I have no idea about...:confused2:
Hopefully someone a bit more knowledgeable than me can suggest something!
Thanks
Jen
