Not seen these fuses before

Just noticed a fuse box in the engine bay that I hadn't noticed before. Or maybe I've only just noticed it because the lid is missing off the fuse box?

Can anyone tell me what they are for please? I need to find a suitable lid for it.

Don't let them get wet, you could short the whole system out. Then you would be well fooked

That'd be the least of the concerns you are not going to get much current flowing through a bit of water. If it corrodes the holders though thats more to worry about.

did you move your heater hose to be under that fuse box? It looks like that hose could of caused the cover to come off

It can cause those fuses to short circuit themselves and burn melt that block

In case you hadnt realised a fuse is already a short circuit so how you short circuit a fuse is beyond me....

Thanks, but sadly that is not the correct part (I didn't double check it!!). Looks like its a fuse box from a different Defender. That was an expensive mistake!!

You can see the from this photo that cover is massive compared to my fuse box...
