I had no idea I was to hold off setting up the payment account, nobody mentioned that I was messaged Tuesday to see how I was getting on setting the account up no mention of holding off. So if peeps don't wanna pay yet don't, those that do will just make up a smaller group simple

I dunno about that, it's still going ahead .. I'm only really informing them of our intentions, without mentioning the actual forum, and asking if there is any reason we can't do it when split into groups. Also asked if they might offer suggestions or help on the days!

In truth there isn't much they can do to stop us driving on open roads/lanes, 'specially if we aren't being stupid.
there is no confirmed lists of peeps goin etc... we need to know confirmed peeps and that confirmed number would go to campsite with bnb confirmations, bbq confirmations... and peeps are already payin 25 quid. Think its all a bit too many peeps doin too much stuff and talkin about doin other stuff... JMHO. 
I mostly do two days laning spread out, and we did two days laning on the ladies bash, which was said could have been longer, as the is a sensitive area, and we are trying to present ourselves as embassadors for our off road community then surely we could make a tiny concession for a delicate trip
you've done nowt wrong, the run is going ahead, i'm waiting a response from rowo and police to see what they might recommend for 50+ landrovers visiting peaks in one day. Aiming for positive help and attitude and a chance to prove we're good lads. With their help we'll have a bit of a feather in the cap, or written agreements about green lanes, over the bobbles ...

Crossed wires Poppy. Carry on. I think some peeps are under the impression that the trip may be cancelled if Plod reply with negative comments. But trip will be going ahead, regardless of any comments Plod or ROWO have to make. I shall be paying shortly

Well we did two half days on ladies trip and we drank like a bunch of old ladies .
Sunday laning means you start early which means the saturday night has to be tame , don't finish til late afternoon , then if its a trek youre not back til early evening...which for those of us that have familes , tends not to be ideal....understatement !!
Problem splitting days also splits the social connection too ...after all why be there friday if youre not laning til the sunday. If theres ways to do it on the one day that would be better imho .
I guess we need to let the organisers decide...then if it's not viable for inds we can not confirm and not have paid .
