I'll be booking a room somewhere, I spend all week camping out in my truck cab so would prefer to sleep in a proper bed at weekends

Trust me thats the easiest time in their lives to take them anywhere. Pretty much all they do at that age is sleep, eat and cry. Throw em in a car seat...frequent feeding stops and you'll be sorted .

If theres one thing in life i know its kids..2 months is grand for him , why wouldnt it be a good idea to take him ?
its your concerns not his actual needs thats the fly in this ointment ( oh and by the way the fact you have those concerns already shows you'll be a ceacking mum )
