coulda sworn I posted this last nite..
ahhh, fairynuff, fenders arnt electronic till the TD5, prolly the transducer connection or the transducer, yer with tim n and n mick in a fender, so they cant speed
getting there now.... just got me props to lube n bearings left to check this eve

if ya talkin bout nicks speedo, tis electric driven from a transducer where the cable would normally go.
connector is known to pull sideways, and cables can get damaged near the plug.
other than that, would need to look further as i aint come across any other issues with disco speedo's
