This road is now impassable with only a seriouslly tricked up motor. The lane in question runs from top of Battersby plantation and has had a lot of tree felling over the last 2 years. This has keft the surface very badly erroded. Had a look last Tuesday 11/12/12, and it had not improved.
The Road travells between mr 610x069 at the top of the hill to approximately 588x076 at the bottom where ther is a ford. Used to be anice lane before the forrstry lads took over. Spoke Alan from Total 4x4 Mag who will be informing Glass.
Is this the very North end of Rudland Rigg, Ingleby Bank to Ingleby Ford? Only asking 'cos when I take me son back to Middlesborough I normally have a little trundle around .. What map referencing are you using?
cheers for that--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
