North Yorkshire Lanes

There's plenty up there, loads of fords on map too just go have a plod round

the hill in troutsdale is tro and so is that bit we all got stuck in apart from nunny, that really boggy bit that we backed up from isnt tro how that works i dont know, had a good day on saturday we did some lanes near malton they hadnt been used in a while but were ok, did a ford aswell didnt look deep until it came over my bonnet my arse was twitching abit then haha, and nick you might be pleased to know that big step on ruddland rigg where you nearly fell off side has been taken out, got 1 or 2 vids i will try and add them

are you on about that lane when we went through the forest where nick got stuck and he tried winching his self out with strap and spade that lane just after that where it went down hill in a channel? was it cropton forest?

surley not chip oil,ha ha,,watch it false economy,,,,,,,

ya engine wont last as long and will need servicing more which defeats the idea budy

I ran me old 200tdi disco on veggy oil for 18months 40/60 in winter 60/40 in summer And it ran better and sweeter than it did on straight doozil..

what happened after 18mth budy...did you clean filters out more..etc and why stop if it works,,i do know people who swear by it..

Rot got to it along with various worn out bits an pieces (not engine) so flogged it. changed filter after 1st thousand miles and then just as per normal. (not very often with me ) not sure how the 300 will cope and to be honest it int that much cheaper than Diesel at the mo.

hi all i run my 200 on veg for 3 year now in summer i run 100% new veg oil and this winter
i have been on 50/50

I know loads who run on the stuff, I get it free so not arguing haha engine does run better on the stuff though if mixed 50/50 and 30 quid to fill it is good for me

Oh n when it's servicing time the old engine oil goes in too
