Well, I'm defo gonna be at foxhouse.
Went out for a test drive in the bobbed up round the hills around Rochdale earlier today, with the excuse that the bucket seat is very comfortable for the back. Well.......

to say I ragged the arse out of the motor would be an understatement:D
One of the hose clips on heater pipes was weaping slightly after the engine work, so tightened up (better to test drive now, then to have issues on saturday...thats m theory). All was well, except m ears were ringing with that cherry bomb. Happy days...
I have a good feelin my back is gonna be much better tommorrow, so just the door card panels to fit n steering rod guard to put on and its ready (tempting fate by saying that maybe?!:rolleyes:)

With a bit of luck I'll have the steering damper for ya on saturday Nick

Still makes me laugh when Rob heard it the first time, and commented "oh, nearly came in m pants then"!
I will have ta see if the novalty of a loud exhaust has worn off after an hours drivin on saturday to get to pub! lol
 
maybe id just like to meet up to see what you guys have got kitted out on ya landyz just bought mine and she a little ruff around the edges. lol
can i ask what kind of equipment owuld i need and how ruff is the terain??

Welcome to come along if ya want mate. I think a bit ruf round the edges helps if ya doin greenlaning...or off roading. To be honest I don't think ya really need too much special equipment, tho I'm more use to breaking stuff off roading than this greenlaning trip.

cos I do more off roading mine got a few extra bits to (in theory) help stop me break bits.
I guess one of the experienced greenlaners (which I'm not!) will be on in a mo givin ya some advise

hey up lads dont know if il make it at weekend, got one side of me sill box section now looks alright aswell and didnt take too long, just waitng for me lit kit now, il see if i can blag broady to come in 90 if disco aint ready
 
have to have a look when ya got em done joe..

standard motor is fine cez is in a standard rr p38.. we look after the new guys.. and if ya not comfortable driving somethin we won't make ya.. you'd be amazed what a standard lr will do..
