Right, just got in from searchin for somewhere to camp. That place in the woods would be ok but the track is gated and would mean leaving the cars on the road and walking with our gear. Sooo after talking to a few people i found an old farm who will let us use his field. About 1/2 mile from the woods we were looking at.
Talacre, Holywell, Clwyd CH8, United Kingdom - Google Maps
If you look at the road (Station Rd heading into Talacre) you will see it bears off to the left and a bridge goes over the railway or whatever it is!! Instead of going over the bridge go straight on down a track and the farm is on the right after 150m Nice old boy called John and is happy to let us camp for free as long as we behave!! It`s the light coloured field to the right of the bridge on the map.
I`ve got his number so let me know what you think
Bob
Think we should either put some money togheter or give him some beer as a thank youI did offer to pay a few quid or a bottle of something but was happy to let us stay for nowt! If it`s ok might be worth just giving him something then we can use it again??
anyone else thinking Texas Chainsaw Massacre
