Noisey wiper mechanism!

Last weekend travelled to Cornwall and back, this weekend travelled to Sheffield and back with the wipers getting noisier by the mile!

Is getting to the internal mechanism easy to see whats going on?

Which bit is making the noise?

The motor and gearing is easy to get to as it's underneath the dash grab handle in front of the passenger seat.

It is easy to strip, clean and re-grease, as is the actuator cable that joins the two wiper spindle gears together.

If it's the spindles, give them a good spray greasing around where they come out through the bulkhead.

On our Disco 2 the four retaining bolts had worked loose and the whole assembly was knocking at each end of the wiper travel.

Tightened everything up and it was fine.
