Has anyone any idea why the sound will only come on my Harmon kardon stereo with the engine running ??? And goes off when I touch the brake or indicators !! The radio lights up but no sound, not even with the ignition turned on, the engine has to be running, I was thinking of knocking the absolute s***t out of it with a large hammer ! It's doing my crust in ...... HELP!

You have an earthing fault I.e. electrical fault
Hitting with insulation tape would be better
Large hammer is for mechanical faults

A vehicle earth is an earth where ever u pick it up from. Leave the wire alone and check you existing earth points where ever they are, are clean.

Sorted! ... Amp knackerd , bypassed the amp and it's working fine and dosnt sound much different to me ....... Happy bunny
