Its a case of close but no cigar...if you look its now been added to...which would be cool if it was his..got chequerplated door sills now and a new ariel...still, good to see folks got an eye out..maybe its someone elses if the numberplates are dodgy...

Unless the thieves decided to add things of course...but that'd be a bit weird....normally disguise them by stripping all the good stuff, A-bar and lights etc..

Hi it's me the owner, first I have to say a massive thank you to all of you who are taking the time and trouble to look out for my beloved Landy, secondly I am trying to follow up ANY possible leads that come up because "she's worth it" I don't care how much of a long shot it is just let me know anything - I really want information.
I know you are all genuine and do this because you all care about Landys but again I can say hand on heart "if I get my car back as a result of any information given to me by someone out there I will be only too happy to give you a substantial reward.

You wanted to hear from people who got their Land Rover stolen and then recovered it?
Ours was stolen from my wife's place of work, but was fitted with TRACKER and the Police soon intercepted it on the motorway heading South. The Tracker unit can immobilise the engine by remote control so the Police did this and brought it to a halt on the motorway.
Both scumbags legged it, one was caught quickly but the other ran across the motorway....and got clobbered by a van, breaking both legs and one arm.
Great you say, they caught the thieves, but they were bailed and the uninjured one disappeared, the other only got a non-custodial community service order.
Still at least we got the LR back the same day.

years ago i owned a audi quattro....one saturday morning i was awoken by a banging at the door...opened it to find a copper standing there...do you own car regn number blah blah blah.....i said yes, thats my car why? he then asked where it was....i said it should be on the driveway behind you(knowing what was coming next and getting that sinking feeling)....im afraid it isnt sir he replied,,we have it in our compound
So in he came and over a brew he told me the story of the preceeding nights adventures involving my quattro....a stolen sierra cosworth RS...a police car and a armed robbery in manchester......in the ensuing chase the cozzie pilot died the moment he hit the lampost, but luckily the passenger took hours to die the next day in hospital from his injuries(sadly they couldnt keep him alive any longer to suffer even more!)
As for my quattro...they all jumped ship and left in in a car park...end result costing me just the usuall lock changes etc....so i guess i was really very lucky,no damage damage really when you think the poor cossie owner awoke to'weve found your car sir....its wrapped around a lampost'

My mate had his Seirra nicked, He did get the visit from the police asking where he was during certain hours as apparently he had been robbing a bank. He was still at work oblivious to the fact his car had been stolen.
