No reverse light !

Help required please ...... no reverse light. I have replaced the switch and have 12V to it. Bulb is good. Still nothing. Seems like something has worn so that switch isn’t contacting when selecting reverse ? Any ideas ? Thanks.

So if you depress the switch plunger by hand, does the light come on?

As above, could be screwed in or out too far.

Still no joy - I have concluded that the switch is good.
The plunger doesn't seem to be adjustable
Must be an earthing issue.
Driving me mad !

So...have you done this^^^^^??
The plunger adjustment is how far in or out you screw the switch in!

Just to clarify, the switch is seemingly good, but if you take it out and manually ‘activate’ it by depressing the plunger, the reverse light does not turn on?

Where is the reverse light switch situated, is it easy to get to? I have a no reverse light issue too.

Back of the gearbox face, easy to see.

No reverse light !
