Not true. They have to pay out the 3rd party claim, they may refuse to pay for your own damage however.
Some companies allow modifications, some don't. Check before you buy then you wont be offended when they say no.
I also agree with whoever said it above, I wouldn't have bothered telling them about any of those mods that could have come from the factory like that.
Fair enough its good to know that they have to pay 3rd party, I thought they didn't. I'm not "offended" just frustrated that they have no flexibility. But I am taking my business elsewhere if I can so I'll put my money where my mouth is.
