I’ve seen the interior when you did it, never seen the front before. Very different - looks like something that would be OE for an American market
The guy I bought it off had a landrover before, but he said the wheels were too small and it didn’t have enough ground clearance for off-roading in Norway, that’s why he got the Laplander
By the way my brother had a mk1 defender, was good, don’t think you’ll convert me though. I’m not necessarily a Volvo convert either. Just thought people would find it interesting as it’s a real classic in Scandinavia. Designed to drive through the forest and be easy to fix in the field. Also has the record breaking b18 engine in it.
I’d say it’s pretty rare in the uk
