hi i have 2007 Range Rover 4,2sc 140,000 on clock i have changed thermostat flushed matrix changed water heater dual control valve and pbh valve think it was called car heats up when ticking over but after driving for a bit goes cold again was wondering if anyone had this problem or any suggestions thanks

blockag in the matrix.......air ? Or a knackered water pump, have you checked circulation ? Rad should start to get warm at top and then head to the bottom when thermostat is opening.
Have you felt pipes going in and out of matrix ? Are they hot ? And either side of the control valve ? May have a knackered control valve you swapped.

Have you tried letting the car cool over night and the topping up levels in morning ?

thanks for reply yes matrix is clear flushed it out all 3 ports no blockage there new thermostat 4weeks ago had new water pump last year will triple check valve control car does not overheat and level stays good and pumping water round ok will try valve again

Good start mate, it has to be a command issue or a valve that is stuck.
So water pipes to matrix are hot ? Ins and outs ?
Is so then will be a flat issue look for simular problems on that certain car.
