Thanks to all who offered advice

After snapping my key in the door lock I black boxed my car because the RAC
were going to be 3 hours.

The next day the car started fine and when I left work it would not start
:( called out the rac who could not get it going and he said it the
immobiliser and you need a new battery its dead and not holding the charge.

I bought a new battery and paid a garage to put new locks and sort out the
immobiliser, they said they did all this including the key code and when I
went to collect the car they took ages starting it and said run if for an
hour the battery is dead.

Did not work again!!!

Had Nissan check it over after having it towed there and after 2 hrs labour
charge they said it does not have an immobiliser and its the heater plugs
but for another £230 I decided to use a big local garage and have the car
serviced and MOT'd. The towed it in.

The did the plugs and said it needs a new starter motor and told me once
these have been done the car will work perfect so I told them to go ahead
with the service and mot total bill for these £600.

Drove the car home and notice heavy liquid leakage ( garage said drive it
back it was a coolant leak the forgot to tighten)

Drives home and went 10 miles to a shop on leaving the store the car would
not start exactly the same as It always was just sounds like it is going to
but will not.

The sent out a mechanic and he said sorry I don't know we need it back to
the garage, they took me home and collected the car that day.

Called the garage today asking whats up now and they said we don't know but
it works fine now alls good come and get it. I did

Drove to a family house for tea and on leaving the car wont start yes same
as always, had to get the rac out and after 10 mins he said the immobiliser
is stopping you, (turned out it was bypassed and the fuse was loose).

No the car starts no bother just as it always did before I snapped the key

I feel ripped off because this fuse seems to have been the problem all along
and I've spent £1550 including the new locks to find the real problem is a
loose fuse.

Get a written report from that last RAC chap detailing what he found and
the the actions he took. Then show it to the garages involved to get your
money back, if they don't cough start proceedings against them.
Everything in writing, it'll be a long hard uphill struggle with no
guarantee that you will win all your money back but you should be able to
get some.
